The photographic work based on limestone quarrying is part of a large project called Quarry Faces. Started by Dr Robin Thornes, it is a Mendip Hills Community Heritage Project tracing the history of the nationally important limestone quarrying industry on the Mendips. The project received Heritage Lottery Funding.
